I peacefully detach from those that have hurt me.
I can forgive those that have wronged me in the past.
I avoid losing myself in anger. I understand that experiencing anger means my expectations have been violated. Other people may not share my opinions on right and wrong. I allow others to live their lives as they see fit.
Always believe in the magic of a new beginning.
I can let go of people that consistently mistreat me. I am free from the need to be attached to any particular person. I deserve the best and surround myself with those that want the best for me.
Anger leaves my mind and body quickly and easily. I have so much love in my heart that anger is crowded out. I only hold on to positive feelings.
I recognize and diffuse anger when I first experience it. As soon as I begin to feel angry, I relax and allow the negative energy to leave. I breathe deeply and turn my thoughts to something more positive. As a result, I can maintain a peaceful outlook.
I am also able to forgive myself. I have made mistakes in the past, but I have moved past them. Others find it easy to forgive me, too.
Today, I am moving forward with my life and leaving anger behind. I give my time, energy, and focus on those that support and love me. I peacefully detach from those that have harmed me.
Self-Reflection Questions:
1. Why do I keep people in my life that continue to harm me?
2. Who are the people in my life that support me the most?
3. What would I gain by detaching from those that hurt me?
